Float Fishing

The larger rivers we guide are best accessed with Rafts and Drift boats giving our guests access to incredible scenery while fishing some treasured secret spots that can only be accessed by boat. Fishing season never ends in Colorado and our boats are in the water all year long. Whether you are new to fly fishing or an experienced angler, fishing from a boat is an iconic way of fly fishing in the west. Full and half day trips are available every day. We can choose the best stretch of river depending on seasonal flows and hatches insuring you the best experience possible. Wade Fishing Trips

Wade fishing is a great way for beginner and expert alike to diligently work a special piece of water while using many different techniques. These trips offer more one on one instruction time with your experienced guide and are a great way to discover the joys of fly fishing. With access from headwaters to the larger lower stretches of our magnificent watersheds we can guarantee a custom experience based on your expectations. Full and half day trips are available all year long. Locations and times are based on conditions and your guide’s local knowledge. We'll pick you up right from your hotel in Vail or Beaver Creek and head straight to the river, for a day to remember. We provide all necessary equipment, fishing rods, flies, waders, and transportation.

Still Water Trips - Loch Style!

Fishing from a Drift boat is not limited to moving water here in the Central Rockies. We offer packages that take you to some beautiful lakes that allow us to use some of the interesting techniques associated with “Loch” fishing. Dry Fly enthusiasts will love fishing our wonderful Callibeatis hatch as well as our late day and evening floats which always offer dry fly opportunities. Throwing streamers into the warm shallows of spring can give anglers a shot at big trout that have not retreated to the depths for summer while using new age sinking lines and heavier, longer rods. Floating a lake is also a great way to use some traditional European methods for fishing Stillwater from a boat with a drogue (water sock).This is a great way to cover water while looking for fish by using the power of the wind like sailing.
